Hilary Nichols, PACE* Coordinator and Community Involvement Commission Staff Liason from Seattle Dept. of Neighborhoods
Ms. Nichols will present a mini-workshop on the following:
- Lessons and activities related to teaching the structure of the city of Seattle, and ways to influence decision makers;
- Lessons and activities around the City of Seattle budget process;
- A conversation about what challenges are faced in community engagement in the neighborhood and we’ll collectively generate ideas for expanding outreach.
Community members outside of Ravenna-Bryant are welcome and encouraged to attend. Space is limited.
*People Academy for Community Engagement (PACE), a parte of Seattle Department of Neighborhoods.
