“Safely Crossing NE 65th Street” Selected for the NSF 2019-2021 Program Cycle

“Safely Crossing NE 65th” is one of the projects selected for the NSF 2019-2021 Program Cycle.

The Neighborhood Street Fund (NSF) is a city program that enables the community to propose and help prioritize transportation-related projects that are then built by the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT).

Design for the selected projects will begin in the fall and will be completed in 2020 – construction in 2021.

Hello,
There is a group of us @ Blakeley Commons on Blakeley Street who want to build support toward getting the mph slowed from 30 to 20 and some cross walks.

We’d like to join with you and other neighborhoods to request the needed changes to city council and/or police. Please advise me if that’s of interest to your group. Perhaps, we could put in a “Neighborhood Street Fund” program? Thanks, Patti

Hello Patti, thank you for your comment. We will inform the rest of the board and will get back once we have had the opportunity to discuss this issue.
